Saw on Facebook that BGE has deemed today some sort of energy saving day, encouraging customers to turn off AC and electrics from 1-7....on the hottest day in recent memory. And those who participate in the Peak Rewards program (not I) will have their AC cycled down 50% all to save a total of $4-$8 on the day.

So I was involved in what should have been a horrible accident...  But instead I walked away with out a scrap and amazingly no noteworthy damage to my car.  Long story but  to keep it short... As I was sitting  I was  trapped by a dude going way to fast who swerved to avoid me,  tapped me,  spun out and almost side swiped me,  then almost hit another car (funny enough a coworker's car),  and wound up facing the wrong way in a ditch..

Oh and everyone survived.  Roar.

I am still trying to figure out what happened. The ONLY damage to my car is an imprint of his License Plate on my bumper. Which I didn't even notice till later (The great thing about driving a beater). According to my coworker, the kid was already skidding when he hit me. I was just beginning to accelerate when he hit.. which saved me. After hitting, he spun out and wound up in the ditch. This marks 3 accidents I've been in since I've started driving which should have injured or killed me but I walked away without a scratch (sans the air bag burn from one of them).

I've basically finished my animating now. Just setting it all up for rendering, then about 48 hours straight of rendering to do.

And that's two solid days of rendering time, which I can only do when I'm not actively using the computer, because it chews up 100% of my CPU. Gonna have to pull some overnight renders to get it done quickly.

Actually not entirely sure, they are using citrix server and all the systems are windows 7 so we'll see.
