I didn't drink coffee for the longest time. I was always a tea drinker. I still am but ever since I started waking up at ungodly hours for work, I've needed that extra boost that tea doesn't give me.

Well last night was interesting. Took 6th place in a doubles bowling tourney. Wound up bowling on lanes next to my ex- which normally would have been annoying but she and I got along great. Kinda brought some competitiveness out in the end (especially when the bitch made a comment about always being a better bowler than me... I completely squashed her that game... she beat me overall, but my team beat her team... so I am satisfied...).

Then went out to see my buddy's country band play. I can't stand country but... this band is tight as fuck. They perform a mix of originals (which are pretty damn good considering they're country), as well as country and classic rock covers. A woman asked the band if she could hop on stage and sing a (Garth Brooks?) song with them. They gave her the ok, and she blew everyone away. She was transgendered... and used to front a country band in her earlier years. It was fucking awesome. (Up until the end of the night when she was incredibly hammered and kept hitting on my buddy and I).

My coworker whom kinda stood me up a few weeks ago contacted me before the show and asked if I was still going. Told her hell yea. She said she'd come by and hang out.

She never did
