Guy who was our VP of Global Projects has been shitcanned. Finally. Dude was a total douchebag who, while he came highly recommended and praised, conflicted with nearly everyone in the company, did as little work as possible while trying to push all the work onto everyone else, and then shittalked everyone and tried to throw us under the bus. Tis was all communicated to the president of the company and she met with us to tell us that she has our backs, and he was let go this morning. It's a bit stressful because we are now down one, but on the other hand his troubles are no longer bringing us down, so I guess that's a good thing.

So, when I was watching a youtube video of a Twitch stream of one of my favorite youtuber/streamer, Cryaotic, he was playing World of Warcraft (which he hadn't played in years for various reasons until recent times). Typically, the music he was playing during his WoW streams was from a power metal playlist, but for that particular stream, he wanted to listen to DT. Not just that, but he wanted to listen to The Astonishing as background music for his stream and he let that album play in its entirety. Afterwards, when he was wrapping up a PVP battleground, the beginning of BTFW set was playing and he ended the stream around the middle of The Shattered Fortress. I think he enjoyed it, so that was an interesting observation to see.

Good evening guys! So I got the job at citi bank. I'm taking quite a pay cut but it's not as bad as I thought, plus with what I have in savings it's not so bad. Either way I'm pumped, finally in IT and leaving hospitality management behind. What's everyone up to?
