So today was my last day of classroom training.

Tomorrow I start my crash course in operations and procedures. In the office.

I also finally have my own cube. And it's like right next to my supervisor. Not sure if that is a good or a bad thing.

Depends on your supervisor I guess. My boss had her office next to me for the first few weeks while I learned how things work and it was really nice having her to talk to. Now I have my own office time seems to move a bit slower.

Typically you don't want to sit close enough for your supervisor to see you in your cube because then you know you have eyes on you and can't be on DTF

Granted, depends on how your supervisor manages. A micromanager I would try to stay far away from if I could.

Yep, still a ton of rendering to do. I fixed up my biggest rendering issue today though, so hopefully it's smooth sailing from here.

Usually it's a matter of process of elimination. Took me a week to fix this one, because I never thought to find the underlying issue.

Buying a snake cam for your shower sounds way sexier than it actually is.

A snake cam? So you'll be able to see inside your pipe and it has a light or something and you'll actually be able to find the leak?

This is why I'm very glad that my boss lives on another continent

mine's in another state so Im good as well, plus he's not a micromanager and would have no issue if I was looking at porn at work so there's that (our laptops have no blocking as well)

I've gotta meet up with my buddy before work. He's filing for custody for his youngest son and I'm giving him a letter stating certain facts and what I've witnessed in regards to his ex. Luckily... The courthouse is next door to my office.. So he's just meeting me at work.

Ugh, our house's power cut out, and it wouldn't go back on because something was tripping it. It took an hour of turning off and eventually unplugging everything before we managed to get the power back on, and the worst part is that we still have no idea what it causing the problem. Even with everything turned off, it still tripped, so something must have a shitty cord or something, but now it's working. So I'm sure I can look forward to the power cutting out randomly again. Hooray!
