I have a meeting in a few minutes. Otherwise, I have an easy day. I finally received the rest of the equipment I need to finish the switch install. Now I'm sitting at my desk and listening to the new Fates Warning. It's really really fucking good.

Seeing news on Facebook last night that the drummer from the NY-based Kiss tribute, Kiss Alive, jumped off the balcony of his gf's 8th floor apartment in North Bergen, NJ. Suffered from severe tinnitus and apparently hadn't slept well for days. Docs couldn't seem to do much, if anything, for him. It HAS to be bad if it drives you to kill yourself.

There are few things that I spend money on but video games is one of those things. I pick up tons of games during steam sales, I'll never realistically play them because I only have 2-3 hours at most a week to play but when I do play I have a blast.

If it ever gets done! Been nothing but trouble this week. I can't get anything rendering right, and I have the most difficult scenes left to do. But I must finish it!

Occasionally. I'll be working there on July 4th for an easy AM shift. I'm also still working security for our local Moose Lodge... Easy occasional gig ( few evenings a month. Cash paid at the end of the night). The extra cash will be nice. And the ability to tell my old job to fuck off it I don't wanna work is nicer.

When I left the family restaurant for my current job, I gave myself six months away to detox, and then started picking up one shift on the weekends. That lasted all of another six months before I decided to essentially step away for good. I still go back the two days before Easter to help sell candy, but that's much different (and less aggravating) than what I had been doing there full time.
