I'm pretty sick at the moment. I took Nyquil last night for the first time in my life. I took 45mL over the recommended 30mL. Holy shit. That stuff feels like another dimension. I can't tell if I'm more sick this morning, or still feeling the effects of the medicine.

Yesterday's 3 hours of rendering was wasted, and it took me 2 hours to fix it so now I can spend 3 hours re-rendering it. But today I rendered a different scene that took 2 hours that also ended up being wasted so I had to fix that up so it can be re-rendered. Basically I'm at the same spot I was two days ago, so the usual.

What about you?

The holiday season for Wal Mart. Now through sometime in August it will be busy. Then pick up again in October through January. It's the busiest I've seen it in 5 years here.

Had a couple minor issues yesterday (train got me in 90 minutes late, and took a 15 minute Uber to a brewery only to find that they were closed for a private event), but ended up at a great beer bar last night and had a quesadilla stuffed with mac and cheese for dinner (it was glorious

). About to head out to breakfast with some of the other people in my homebrew club.

What with my relocation and new job hunt, I probably won't get a full vacation this year. Maybe just a weekend trip to the beach.

The good news is that the beach is only a little over two hours from our new house.

Recommened dose was 30mL and I took 45mL of the stuff. I typically give myself 50% more than the dosage calls for with pretty much anything except prescribed steroids and antibiotics. I need like 2000mg of ibryprophen to feel anything. I think my body has an unusually high tolerance for that sort of thing. I barely responded at all to morphine when I fell off the balcony. They had to get me on dilaudid by day two.

I used to love taking that stuff. I always take more than the recommended dose. My tolerance has always been high with pills.

I don't get that luxury. I live less than 5 minutes WALK from work. That somehow means that If I *can* work on my day off then I must.

shifts go really quick and I do it for the money alone.

A small bonus is that my house has no reception so if they text me to ask me to come in - I may not get it for a few hours.
