Tonight on the other hand... My buddy is playing a bar with one of his cover bands. He is arranging for me to have a ride to and from, and plans on me being incredibly intoxicated before the night is through. So it will get better.

And I am on the fence about the security job. I was SUPPOSED to work tomorrow... but I was never put on the schedule. I actually called and left a message with my supervisor informing him I wouldn't be working tomorrow anyway do to me celebrating my bday. I may just drop it all together. They can't get their shit together at all and a few people have told me that as soon as I left, stuff stopped getting done and shit started hitting the fan.

I probably will drop it though because I need approval through HR to work another job due to possible conflicts of interest. Normally it WOULD NOT be an issue but my Site Manager (who actually did the interviewing and hired me.. He's a very likable guy) walks his dogs at my old property. He has seen me a lot and will see me if I keep working. He actually came up to me on Thursday while I was shadowing people in the office and welcomed me (to the family)... and said "So you're done with security, right???"

I said it looks like it.

I will still pick up shifts working with a friend at the Moose Lodge. It's a once in a while thing (usually Saturdays) and pays me more than my old job. Cash. Can't beat that.

I had rotator cuff surgery yesterday. So just hanging on the deck. Opened a beer and having a cigar and enjoying the sun. I head back down to Florida to see my sons on Tuesday for a few days then back up to good ol Jersey the following week.
