It's pretty good. I had a good interview today so now I'm going to the final round of interviews next week. One of my guests came over and gave me a beer and now I'm relaxing.

I went to set up my switches and realized I forgot to order my usb to serial cable

that just came in the mail

I had my desk space cleared and everything and I'm like alright lets do this. I was following a guide and it said get the cable out and I'm like "Wait a minute . . ." Then I had to go through my amazon history because I really thought I remembered ordering it.

I'm all for getting married, in fact I was going to purpose but the money I saved for a ring I put towards this down payment for our house. I told my gf that buying a house together is a bigger commitment than getting married. She didn't think the same

I must have gotten incredibly lucky when I bought my house. Getting a mortgage (3.25%) was cake. The only pain in the ass thing about it was that I had to fax stuff and didn't have a fax machine. Other than that, it was smooth sailing. A couple of paystubs and some proof of employment, a credit check, and I was pretty much good to go.

I just added a Pearl kit to the list even though I'd have to order it off Amazon instead of getting it in-store at Guitar Center. Anyone wanna take a peek and let me know if this is good for the money, especially as compared to the PDP options I have listed over there?
