Isn't it just freaking awesome?

yeah.............they seem to have (finally.......for me) hit their stride as a prog metal band.  I always thought they were better in the style of their debut - aside from tracks here and there - but they've taken it to another level recently.

people on this board are actual music fans who developed taste in music and not casual listeners who are following current fashion trends and listening to only current commercial hits.

Hmm, might just play that next, when I've decided which of these songs to cull for Brent's ep.

As far as Crue goes, this album and the s/t are the only two that I really like.  The others are just decent-good IMO.

Are both of these worth getting?  Especially the Ten.

Both are solid releases without being anything spectacular.................both 80%ers or so.

To me the Waken Eyes isn't quite top end prog metal befitting the names involved - which often tends to happen in these projects with big names surrounding a little known guitarist/writer.  It is a quality release though and the last couple of tracks were a cut above the rest IMO.

The Ten EP..........probably for completists more than anything.  Assuming you have Albion and depending on which version of Isla Del Muerta you have there are either 3 or 4 (out of the six) new tracks on this.  One very good track and and the others are very solid.  Not sure that I would go out of my way to find it though.

I just got the normal version, no bonus tracks or anything.  I might check it out.  Isla was a big step down from Albion though IMO.

I was going to send something from this in your roulette. Both Tokyo jukebox albums are excellent. He's a very tasteful player though he loses me a bit when he goes super heavy. I would like another album in the style of scenes and introduction.

I haven't checked that one from Marty, but his last one, Inferno, was amazing.
