Doctor Who - Series 2 (2006) - Round 5
« on: May 03, 2013, 04:11:36 PM »
Crikey, lots of tiebreaks - that's good, consensus, and it means it'll be a speedy survivor.

Okay, your votes in this round will determine placing. If there are any second ties, each story's total performance across all five rounds will break it. Let's see if this works!

Results so far --

TCI Round 3: 9
NE Round 3: 5
T&C Round 3: 6
RotC Round 3: 6

TCI Round 1: 5
NE Round 1: 2
T&C Round 1: 3
RotC Round 1: 2

Therefore, priority in a further tie is as follows --

The Christmas Invasion (14)
Tooth & Claw (9)
Rise of the Cybermen (8)
New Earth (7)

This is turning out to be more complicated than I thought, but I think the results are more interesting. Less predictable, more jeopardy! More tiebreaks - wonder if that's innate to the format. Wonder if it's bad. Might be exciting, and means we're not drawing it out over weeks and weeks, but feels inelegant. Then again, daleks have no concept of elegance.
