Lowdz- Phantom's Opera- Etched in Stone

Catchy fucking tune, and it had such a killer vibe to it. Loved the vocals. The only hit I had was the repeating of the chorus at the end, maybe one or two too many times.

Kirksnosehair- Apple Pie- Crossroad

The first part of the song was a bit off, don't really think I fully dug the vocals, but man did that instrumental make up for it, just awesome. That bass tone was unreal, got an Entwistle "My Generation" vibe from it.

TAC- Testament- Throne of Thorns

 
Playing up to my thrash side, well done mister. Probably would have scored higher if I didn't have a massive head cold on my last listen.

Cozmo- Blue Murder- Valley of the Kings

You said your list of long songs was limited, the fact that TAC called out your song showed it. Fortunately, it was a kick ass tune with some brutal guitar work.

Pretty much loved everything about this song, beginning to end. Really carried along nicely, it was the only song of the round that I wished was longer to be honest.

Ravenheart- Type O Negative- Love You to Death
Really loved the ethereal tone of this song, had this dark sensuality about it. Wasn't 100% sold on the vocals though, just a personal preference.

It was a good tune, not great, but good. Just really didn't catch me anywhere.

Obscure- Creation's End- Hollow
Really good tune, very dark imagery. The tone of the song kind of dragged after a bit though. Great vocals.

Yeah, I only had two other options I considered sending but this was the best of the 3.  I put my iTunes library into an Excel spreadsheet and determined that out of 1,078 songs, only 42 of them are 7+ minutes.  20 of those are either DT, Metallica, or Rush.

Lonestar, first chance I've had to sit down and post here in a couple of days. First off, thank you so much for inviting me. It really meant a lot. I was proud to be included with such a great group of DTFer's. I let myself down in a couple of middle rounds, but I was happy to finish strong. I also discovered a couple of cool bands here myself, like Hourglass and Mob Rules. Anyway, it was a pleasure!
