Ticket for Life- anyone interested?
« on: October 26, 2011, 09:08:58 PM »
I got a ticket for life!  Really excited about it, but wish I had won it 15 years ago, I've seen them about a dozen times and have the ticket stubs to prove it..

Not sure how many more times I'll see DT, probably not enough to justify registering the ticket to myself.  I'm in Chicago, and if anyone would be interested of purchasing it (no idea its worth..), feel free to PM me.

I'll give you 12 dollars.  Your username is amusing regarding the thread, could you possibly post some pics of the ticket?

I have no clue how much this is worth. But it beyond hundreds of dollars. Good luck selling it. Think carefully before you do so, too.

Hmm, I'll raise it to 14 dollars then, going to get a bit wild here.

Guess this means the children will be having rice and water all week.

I'd actually think about buying it, but I can say that at most I'd make it to 3-4 shows in the next 6 years... .not a great deal.

What I wondered is what if you wanted to go to shows with someone but you have a ticket for life.  My best friend is just as much of a DT fan as I am so I never go to a DT show alone.  I just wonder how exactly the ticket for life works.

On a serious note, I doubt those tickets are transferable. Didn't somebody say they have your face on it?

But that would only be once it's redeemed, right? I'm assuming it hasn't been used yet.
Of course I still don't fully understand how the entire Ticket for Life is being handled.

Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

I would be *very* surprised if you could just transfer it. Seems to evade the point, IMHO.

I'm only talking about before it's "activated" or whatever. At some point you have to let them know you've won it so you get the thing, or activate it, or however it works.

I'm a little late to this thread but I will trade you some sort of sexual favor for the ticket for life!

Yes, and all of you can consider this your warning for derailing the thread.
