It's splitting hairs between this and ADTOE as far as "favorite Mangini album" goes in my mind, but if I'm really being honest with myself, D/T is my favorite. Like most latter-half DT there's nothing groundbreaking happening but it's just a really solid collection of songs that doesn't overstay it's welcome. This thread inspired me to revisit some of the standout tracks like At Wit's End and Barstool Warrior and I was seriously impressed by how well they held up now that the "honeymoon phase" is over (when the album was released I was way more obsessed with the band). I think it's my favorite post-SDOIT DT album.

I think TOT and 6D belong in the list too, but DOT is certainly up there with the classic 90's output of the band.

Yeah, I'd probably put ToT and 6DoIT after DOT on my list. But they are much less...consistent from top to bottom, IMO.

After listening to this album and hearing Portnoy play Barstool Warrior. I would go so far to say D/T is the most Portnoy album of the Mangini era. I could even hear him playing Room 137, that is so metal and is not so different than something like Honor Thy Father.
