North American 40th Anniversary tour preshows ...all wrapped up and finished

I just started a new thread for all things for New York City.

To be accurate with the pre-shows in Las Vegas and Reno.

Las Vegas is from 2-4:30.

To find Yolo's, first it is in Planet Hollywood, directly across the street from the Cosmopolitan. The side of the street with Planet Hollywood is cluster of doors and signs. There is a red ticket booth on the sidewalk right outside one of the doors to Planet Hollywood. Yolo's is on your right when you first go in.

Reno is at 2-4:30 as well. The venue is in the Grand Sierra, a resort style hotel. Chickie & Peets is in the Hotel, about 30 yards from the Grand Theater.

Whatever timezone you are in, that's the time you see. So if you look at the listing in New York, it shows the times in EST, even thought the event is PST.

It will be from 2-4 instead of 4:30.  The VIP requires a 4-4:30 check-in with a 4:30 cutoff.  The venue is right across the street, but walking anywhere in Vegas is a slog - and the theater in the hotel is at the end of a twisty-turny maze that, frankly is a pain the arse.

Ah that sucks, makes some sense too. Hopefully that's not a permanent change though.

DT USA has never advertised the after shows due to various reasons. They have no control over these, and the passes were not guaranteed for all shows. Four of the six preshows I hosted over the last six tours provided passes.  I still had a blast at the other two preshows, as well as the two I attended this year as a guest.

My wording may have been bad - we didn't know until AFTER we won and asked if there would be an after show or not, but that's a fair point not to expect it. It's great that the band even does them and I was fortunate enough to meet them after the show in 2017 and 2019, I had just really been hoping to maybe chat with Mike (if he showed).

It definitely would've been awful to be expecting it and then only find out after the concert along with the pre show host.

Oh BTW, the Wheeling concert is next Tuesday, not today. I'll likely go to that concert but I probably won't be able to make the pre show unfortunately
