Asked the wife if she wants to go back to NY (we went last October) or visit a new city.  She elected a new city, since she wants to do more tourist stuff on our next NY trip and not a concert.  So for this leg I'll be hitting up:

Raleigh, North Carolina and
Los Angeles, CA

Can't wait for Salt Lake City! Had front row last time. Don't think that will be the case this time.

Well change of plans, I was going to get radio city tickets for my wife and I and maybe catch the CT oakdale show too and see if any friends were gunna be there. Now that reversed. The wife made it VERY clear that she don't want to deal with the city so I'll be grabbing my CT oakdale tickets today and maybe soloing the radio city show if my wallet allows it lol

So someone please explain how presale works and whether it's worth it? I saw a post earlier in this thread that stated the best tickets aren't always available during presale so should I just wait? I'm looking at Wallingford, where I know we've gotten 4th row center before without presale.

Also is it 9AM or 10? I'm taking the morning off to make this happen so I really don't want to mess up.

It's 10am,
Presale just releases a limited amount of tickets early. It can be a double edged sword because while it's possible to land some great seats, eventually the better early seats can be bought up and on the general sale day more seats will be released. Probably some great seats that weren't available on pre sale. So Id say if your happy with what's available on presale go for it, if not it may be best to wait for more seats to be available on Friday.

Thank you! I'm a little concerned that by Friday it'll sell out entirely so I'll likely select from what's there this morning. I don't need to be hugging the stage (been there, done that 🙂) but just would like something nice.

So thankful for this place and the people here who are so helpful 💖

Glad to be of help! Yeah the good vibes of this forum is what made me stick around!

I'm in the same boat, I'd wait but knowing myself I'd have a panic attack thinking it's gunna sell out lol, especially since my wife made it very clear Toyota oakdale is the one she wants to go to. So I'm just going to get whatever I like most today lol.

Talking about being paranoid about a show selling out, my uncle was worried I wouldn't get tickets early enough for the london show if he bought them later in the morning, so he woke up at 2 in the morning when the tickets went on sale!

Yes, same! We toyed with the idea of NYC for this but honestly would rather not deal with all the stress. Toyota Oakdale is such a nice venue and so easy to get to.

At this point I'd rather just ensure that we can be there

This presale thing is just another gimmick, I just don't understand why they do it, except to give us anxiety 😅

Just saw what they're charging for Boston  ::); I'm out. Maybe if they were playing my 18 favorite songs they could lure me back in but it looks like I'll be waiting for the DVD  :-\ .

This made me worry a bit, I just checked the venue page - looks like tix start at $49 in Boston.  That's actually about where I expected for the lowest priced tix.

crystalstars17

As we're only doing one show this time around (having a cat with cancer is devastatingly expensive 🙀), we'll splurge for the good seats. I haven't looked at the Oakdale page yet, but it's "Christmas" to one another so it's all good.

What are the odds of it selling out before the end of the year? :-\
I would say the chances of selling out are HIGH. I mean is the last show of the tour, and it'll likely be recorded so I would say that you better secure the tickets and sell them after in case you can't attend. There would be a line of people trying to get those out of your hands.

Anyone find tha Las Vegas presale code??? I'm coming up with nothing  :yarr

everybody got their browser tabs open for some Ticketmaster tomfoolery?

I don't think it will sell out immediately, but it doesn't hurt to get tickets if you can.

So as of right now, I'm planning on getting tickets for the Philly show (SO wants to attend that one as well, and she doesn't even like DT), and the NYC show. Depending on the setlist situation, I might go to CT as well but that will be more of a last minute decision  :corn

I've been scoping out The Met in Philly. Has anyone been there? I'm assuming I'm not going to want to spend what the floor is going to cost. How's the view from the back orchestra there? I'm thinking of gunning for front row balcony if they're available.

Front row balcony is usually a really good spot!

I'm just hoping "all access" presale means no code needed
