I got you man, just busting your chops a bit lol.listen I never fully understood where some of your feelings came from, because to me it seemed a lot more personal then "his playing is not precise", But When you explained the whole story of why you feel the way you feel I got it. I identify more with having a bad interaction with someone you used to look up to in any way more than just saying his playing isn't precise, and it sucks that happened. I think It's easier to notice flaws in someone when they kind of disappoint you. so overall I get why you're not enjoying listening to his playing anymore. I'm Glad you're seeing it through this launch tho!

So I'm a member of JR's patreon, and earlier this year while they were in the studio he uploaded a progress video, and in one shot I noticed the same type of symbols on the table, except instead of the H in the DT font, it was an M in the DT font (or similar at least). I think the symbol above the door is a deliberate part of a puzzle.

JP has there or four nostrils in that picture.  And look at the edges that blend.

I met him twice (before he got clean and sober mind you) and he wasn't the nicest person to be around to put it very mildly. I'll spare you the gory details. (or you might send me a PM if you want to know some more) I was quite a bit of a fan of him at the time (and DT of course), not ever since then.

Right?! My level of conviction has increased from 65% to 70% now. We'll find out soon enough. I mean, these clues have to be possible to make sense of. If the album had some totally random title or idea that no one would ever predict what would be the point of Noxons countdown?

That really sucks man. I know he's mentioned in interviews that he was a real dick to people around that time.. still no excuse.

Funny true story,
I think this was around 2000 or 2001. I was around 12 at the time. My dad used to take me with him to NA and AA meetings, and one AA meeting MP was there. I believe it was in Rockland County. No idea why he was in Rockland... but I'm abt 95% sure it was Rockland. I just remember him being so down to earth. My dad and his sponsor were both musicians so they talked music with MP and that literally how I was introduced to DT and LTE. Never saw him again but that's a memory that never left me. It's sad that your experience was not the same brother. I'm guessing he was not in his best state at the time.
