Karl Pilkington is pretty much the funniest man on earth.

Well, he's my favorite comedian and my view on spiritual stuff is pretty much the same. Can't wait for his next Golden Globes as a host :)

Urizen

I am a supporter of GNE as well but for accident lol. I`m okay with that

I know why some people may not like him, but I would recommend taking this to another thread, lol.

Train of Naught

Yeah just take this to the "Official DTF Ricky Gervais Thread" and you should be fine.

As much as I like Ricky, I would prefer an Official Karl Pilkington thread xD

Enigmachine

To be fair, nothing of note relating to the album has happened in a week (and if you don't count the character pictures, just over a month) so the thread is bound to go off topic once in a while.

lucasembarbosa

Mark my words: the band decided to keep quiet for any news on the past days but will release a second song, probably from Act II or a song from the GNE POV within a few days.

Jinx

Bosk has already said we are in for a good week. Let's just be patient and when it happens it happens and we can all lose our minds then!  :corn

goo-goo

My guess is that a video is up next. We are about 3 weeks from release and a video will definitely create hype on the new album.

It's already about to be Wednesday! Not counting the weekend, there's only 3 days left for this week to be a good week.

just found this on the website of the dutch metal magazine 'Aardschok' on the 'Awaited Releases' page:

Dream Theater - "Beyond The Pages Of Our Time... A Preview Of The Astonishing"
https://aardschok.com/verwacht-101

Could be something te be released soon...

Thematt202

Hmm, seems to be from November.  Perhaps that's the 9 song teaser that's been doing the rounds?

I'll thank the website for scaring the bejeezus out of me with what I assume is an online death metal radio. Damn.

"Beyond the pages of our time" was the name of the first album sampler sent out to press. It contained 9 tracks, with one of the tracks being the two songs that flow together.

fischermasamune

Does that mean there is a single pair of songs with one segueing into the other?

That would be odd for an album with 34 tracks to only have one segue.

noxon

Darkstarshades

I always tho instrumentals are not "songs", because you don't "sing" it with your voice, unless someone counts the lead melodies, which I don't.

Nearmyth

Wait wait there's no way all the songs DON'T segue into one another...

Right?
