Guess who's heading to denver in May? Enough time now to save money.

hefdaddy42

Wow, I'm shocked that there is nothing in the Southeastern U.S.

Of course, these are all theater dates for the special "The Astonishing" shows.  Doesn't mean there won't be more dates later.

I' didn't watch the original announcement, but these US show will be in the format of playing ALL the astonishing album live, with the same stage production that there will be in Europe? Thanks!

I believe so, yes.

Maybe it's not big enough for you, guys, but I guess when the band will tour the rest of the world, they won't be playing all the astonishing live neither with same stage production. :'(

Cannot believe that the South East US got snubbed again.

I kept thinking he was messing up by saying dreamtheater.com but when I went there it redirects to the .net site.  Who knew?

Maybe their sales there are really low to not be worth going to?

Perhaps.... but I think that they could sell out a venue at say, Charlotte, or Nashville, or Miami... or Atlanta...aka where ProgPower USA is annually.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I see that there is a presale tommorrow at 10 am local time on the DT site.  Local time to show location or the band location and is there anything special you have to do in order to order on the DT site(register, etc.)?  I would assumte that you push the button and you are sent to ticketmaster or some other site.  I plan to get tickets to Cincinnati(fairly close to Nashville) and the Taft Theater presale is Monday, 12-21 thru ticketmaster.

Ironically, I tried to get tickets for my wife this morning thru ticketmaster for Adele and no luck for either night in Nashville.  I was stressed doing this for a show I have no interest in, but I will be a basket case trying to get tickets for Cincinnati.

It's super cool they're playing Radio City once again.

Would've been even cooler if it was April 1--the 10-year anniversary of Score. Had it been, would've called that as the DVD show.

Wonder if anything on the just-announced leg will be a DVD show. Any ideas?

According to ticketmaster they are $56-102 depending on location

SuperTaco

I'm really interested in that Toronto show. Haven't been out to see DT (Or anyone else) since 2007, and I'll actually have the money for it.. HMMMMMMMM

EDIT: So LiveNation members get a presale? Looks like I'm signing up.

RaiseTheKnife

Did the live stream reveal a presale PASSCODE?  Did I miss that?

If its truly for the fans, as Jordan says several times, the website should feature a rotating DT trivia question to enter the presale page.  So sick of scalpers!

Progmetty

No Texas again, same like last tour..
Moist yet firm smelly bull shit.

SuperTaco

Now I'm sorta confused. The Ticketmaster website says there will be a LiveNation presale one day early, but the LN website is counting down to The 22nd, which is the public release date for tickets..

So there is going to be some sort of passcode released? Does anyone know how or when this'll happen? Or is it released precisely when the presale starts?

Implode

Does every show have its own presale? You guys are talking about presale starting tomorrow, but ticket master says presale for the Chicago show starts on Tuesday. I really don't know how any of this works.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this presale will be through the bands website, not ticketmaster.

Cool Chris

Not following all this, but I saw Seattle while scrolling, so I am happy.
Maybe the grass is greener on the other side because you're not over there fucking it up.

Results may vary, are you familiar with seating at Taft theater?  Is upper or lower seating about the same for sound?

I've never been, personally. But I'll be getting balcony seats when they go on sale. I've had good experiences seeing DT at theatres sitting in the balcony areas.

Thanks!  Guess that I will log in to DT tommorrow morning and hope the pre-presale is up and running.

My wife said that she will go with me, but I politely told her that I would rather go with a  guy who actually likes DT.  Well, that did not go over very well.  Buy hey, I am old so I am going to do it my way.

Tough beans. When I have that convo with my wife about her not going to a show with me, her response is along the lines of "Sweet!"

Darkstarshades

Please, I want them here at Mexico :'(
At least one date...
I can't imagine living a life without having seen TA live once...

Still some dates to be announced, per the blabbermouth article. I'd be shocked if there wasn't a few Mexico shows included in this NA tour. And hope is certainly not gone for additional dates in western Canada and the southeast US, although I'm the people living there aren't expecting any dates at this point.

There's a few days between the Cincinnati and Chicago shows, so a Michigan/St. Louis date (or both) could be possible there. There's also several days between the Denver/Los Angeles shows and the Los Angeles/Portland shows. Good chance for a San Francisco date or a Texas show as well. And with the last date listed as Seattle, there's always the possibility they could hit up Vancouver or other western Canadian cities following the show in Seattle.

I feel bad for the people in the southeast US and Texas, because there's not really any openings in the current dates where they could book shows in those areas, but what do I know? I'm just speculating with no facts or sources to back it up.

OpenYourEyes311

Two days between Wallingford and Radio City... maybe time for rehearsals for the big orchestra/choir/DVD show?

mike099

For those planning to go to Cincinnati, go to the Taft Theater web site.  You can click on a section and see the view from those seats.  They have a small section of middle box seats that I am going for or the balcony.

RoadTrain_of Thought

So is this now the final list of tour dates for Europe and NA. Because they are not even close to me and my poor ass can't afford to go to another country just to see the show.
