Roll call! The pre-sale is this Thursday at 10am! Anybody know when the Platinum/Gold packages go on sale?

OsMosis2259

Whenever I try to get best available from the DT site, it gives me section 203 upper balcony for some reason...

Maybe I'll try a different site.

I'll be in section 202, row A, seat 10. Second time seeing them, and I am psyched!

Does anyone know what the presale password will be for tomorrow?

New Millenium

I got a pair of GA's for the NYC show. Coming down from Canada to catch this (my wife is coming along too....nothing like a shopping weekend in NYC to entice her!) and will have watched them open in Toronto and then the next night in Montreal.

Can anyone please tell me what the Hammerstein is like as a venue? It is my understanding that the floor is slightly angled so that in the GA section you have an unobstructed view of the stage from anywhere down there. Can anyone confirm?

On the DT facebook page there are posts about some of the other shows on the tour and their presale code is MOOSE. So I'm assuming and hoping that it will be the same for this show in about an hour.

Unless they've redone it in the past 5-7 years or so, if there is an angle to the floor, it is very slight.  I've been there 7 or 8 times and never had a problem seeing the stage.  If you go in back of the soundboard area, there's a raised area where the bar is and you can get a nice unobstructed view.  I hung out back there when seeing Pantera to avoid the pits.

Hey cfmoran13....I appreciate that tip. Thanks.

You don't have to twist my rubber arm too hard to get me closer to the bar anyway.

didn't work for me either  :\
and the philly show still hasn't announced an on sale date

DTFan0789

Snagged a GA ticket! I imagine the earlier you show up, the better the chance of being up front?

Elsydeon

Thanks for the code!  Just bought tickets for section 104

Is it just me or is the only available options Radio Presale on ticketmaster?

Well I guess 12pm today was wrong.

EDIT: Now its working

Perpetual Change

Are seats in the balcony open?

Also, almost $75 for a ticket? Is that... normal? Seems really high to me  :\

I saw the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra in NYC for less.

It seems the seats were more money. The GA floor was 64 after fees and taxes.

Paid 109.00 for my ticket in the lower balcony. Way worth it for me. I have no interest in standing on the floor in a mob. Just not my thing.

I debated on getting a seat for the long show but I usually end up standing anyway and when I couldn't find a seat in the first few rows I figured id rather just save the money and try to get close.

It's nice to have an option though, if you get tired and they hit a song you don't like, especially in a 3 hour set. Even at a standing room only show, I was able to sit on the bar in front of me that separated where I was standing from the pit.

cramx3

Yea I hear ya. I'll likely just drink a lot anyway so I won't even notice how much I'm standing.

As I Am

Got G.A. tickets for this one. Didn't want the mezzanine seats because if you are not in rows 1-2 it's tough to see especially if peeps stand.

No way would I personally want to stand an entire evening with show. I love the seats I got. 3rd row lower balcony.

This.
I wonder if there will be any moshing in the GA section  :lol

DTFan0789

GA for me. I'd rather stand and take the pain and be close to the band.  :metal
