Entombed has worked with a ballet company here in Swede a couple of times and it was pretty sweet. This could work.

If you look at their website, they are holding auditions for an upcoming project. I can only imagine it's for DT.

QuoteDancers must have at least four years professional performing experience and be highly proficient in modern and ballet techniques with a willingness to experiment with other movement styles. Awareness of unique musical phrasing and the ability to adapt to that phrasing is necessary.

If that's not code for "it's prog, so you must be able to dance in alternating crazy-ass time sigs" then I don't know what is. :lol

I wonder if the dancers will get hazard pay for attempting to perform to DT's music.

I'm pretty sure there's a clause in a ballet dancer's health insurance that states they're not covered by "acts of prog".

Does dancing to JP's music fall under "act of god"?

Queensryche had cabaret, now there will be a Dream Theatre Ballet Experience!  :metal

What's with the laughing smileys up in the thread, ballet is the most metal sport in existence. An average experienced ballet dancer could crush your skull with his/her thigh muscles :metal

That's not metal, that's just hot. :zydar:

Too bad the only "Rock" station I can pick up is a classic rock station trying to stay hip by playing the occasionally Tickleback and 3 Doors Down.

dparrott

Heh...yeah, I was like "rock radio?"  No station in L.A. that I know of would play TEI.

TL

I... think there may be a radio station here that would potentially play TEI. I'll send a request in on the 15th and we'll find out.

The ballet thing is interesting. Can't wait to see how that turns out.

No idea. Maybe they're hoping it gets as much airtime as PMU or something.

Maybe the label is actually pushing the playing of the tune.
