More excited.  ADTOE is probably my favorite DT release and I saw them twice on that tour.  This was also around the time I started dating my current girlfriend that not only tolerates my DT love but encourages it and she loves ADTOE.  The new DVD/live album will be played quite often.

I just want some decent fucking extras this time. Not the whole concert AGAIN in a format I can't watch.  :tdwn

Tick

Always more excited for a new album that a concert video, but I saw the movie in theater and I have pre ordered it. :tup

Cool Chris

My SOP is excitement when a new release is announced, and then basically nothing up until it is released. I don't get too caught up in the wait and the build-up.
Maybe the grass is greener on the other side because you're not over there fucking it up.

Was way more excited in May. I'm more excited by the new album right now.

A lot less excited. Looking forward to it, but it's not on my immediate "I MUST BUY THIS NOW!" list. Get much more excited over brand new material than live versions of old material. I also find it strange that the live document of ADTOE is coming out during the new album cycle.

Huge thumbs up for ADToE being your fav DT release, and even bigger thumbs up for finding a chick who not only tolerates, but encourages its play.

I'm a bit less excited for LALP than I was for DT12. Reason being: No new music. I realize it was logistically impossible, due to production difficulties or whatever, but I think it would have been better to release LALP before DT12. Releasing it afterwords is a step backwards, really. We've heard the new music, now we get a new release of old music. That's plain back asswords, that is.

But.... I AM excited to see all the behind the scenes/backstage footage. That's my favorite part of almost all of the live releases. I love seeing the guys goofin' off, laughing, having a blast. And... I'll admit I'm intrigued to see how the show turned out. I didn't make it to a screening, and I live in a concert dead zone, so I missed the tour. :sadpanda:

Overall, not as excited but definitely gonna pick it up. :tup

This. I like live releases, but not when it cloesly follows a new album. The fact that the mix has gotten the critisism it has also lowers my excitement and raises my disappointment, even though i haven't heard it yet. Still looking forward to hearing it though. Not sure if I'll get the bluray right away though, since i mostly listen to music through spotify, although the extra material will be fun to see.

I went for the fourth option, because:

Yep.  This exactly.
Look at all us freaks cluttering your city streets
Still scalping their ticket-less applause
Spun monkeys on the railroad track, take me to the caine field; I walk along pick my spiderbite
Basically Kyoko Kirigiri

I'm actually very excited. I've always been a live DVD kind of guy, and I love DT live releases. Somehow they usually make me appreciate and like songs that haven't previously clicked with me and make me love my dearest tracks even more. I doesn't make things worse that ADTOE is top 3 stuff for me either. As I'm going to miss them on their upcoming European tour (stupid military...) I can at least enjoy this live release.

And by the way, as much as this isn't even on my radar anymore, I still dropped $110 on the deluxe book set  :lol

I'll be excited when I have it in my possession and can watch it as much as I want.
