I'm pretty sure when SC was released it wasn't advertised as having a documentary, it was advertised as having a 5.1 mix of the album, that's it.

Yes it was.  That's why I bought that edition, as I don't have a 5.1 setup.

We don't know anything about the artwork releases, to be honest. There are some things that we know, but apparently plenty that we don't, which is great as we get to enjoy these nice surprises too!

I think this time I would rather do without snippets. I don't want the actual music to be spoiled in any way (as opposed to mild review spoiling, which I accept)!

That's acceptable. But it also brings that old story, which I suppose it's not your case: "Hey, I know people want to hear snippets, but I don't want them to  be released because I don't have self-control to not listen to them!"

That's entirely the truth But it's a harmless bit of selfishness, cause I have absolutely zero control over whether or not snippets will be put out.

But I also sincerely think snippets are not really a good idea. It's too far in the night for me to elaborate on that point coherently, so I'll probably get back here in the morning and make a follow up post, unless the thread has dramatically progressed by then

Here's an idea that worked for me:

Make a bet with your friends that you won't hear any of those snippets. Money usually motivates us!
