I suppose we're getting somewhat close to the album, but a single being released very soon would be surprising to me. Though, I haven't really looked at their summer tour schedule with festivals and such coming up.

Single will be released in.. 3-5 ish weeks. Yay predictions.

Well, considering that they've only SCHEDULED shows for January 2014, I think that's a fairly safe assumption.

I don't read the schedules, though.   So my opinion was mostly conjecture, even of it turned out to be correct.

From Mangini's FB: A new drum kit, as well as a revamping of one of the kits from last tour are in the works for 2014. It really is a huge amount of planning and trial and error, but worth it. Easy stuff compared to not having the support and incredibly friendly and helpful people at Pearl to step it up again and again. By just digging in with hard work, all aspects of everything just keep getting better. It is nice to smell the roses every now and then. The feeling will be carried to the stage.

Some people say that tomorrow won't be the day for the single 'cause there has not been an announcement. However, roadrunner release written and audio news on tuesdays. It might happen. But it may also occur on thursday august 1st and open the doors to preorders. Who knows...the painful wait continues...

Any speculation if James will play some shows for his solo stuff before January?  Seems like a good time to sneak in some shows.  If memory serves me correctly, the (unfortunately) cancelled Static Impulse tour was Nov/Dec 2010, just prior to the recording of ADTOE.

Honestly, my excitement level is not as high as a month ago. They went too far with the await of the single/infos and other stuff.

On the other side I think that my hype level will brutally increase again after the release of the single. We'll see.
