70 mins? Would that not make it like the 2nd shortest album after IAW?

i think Train Of Thought is 65 mins.

Edit : 69 minutes.

70 minutes is Train of thought length.

Here in Spain, there is a famous musical journalist called "Tío Emilio" who likes to discuss music with fans in a forum, and he just received... Well...:

We would actually pay attention to anything that a guy that looks like that says?

I really don't give a fuck what that guy thinks of it, or what anyone thinks of it, to be honest. I care what I think of it.

I agree. Half the guys on this forum hate ADTOE and I think it's their best work ever. So do I care what anybody else thinks? Not a lot.

Excellent point.

Especially since his favorite song sounds like another group. That could make it my least favorite. My favorite is when DT sounds like DT.... because I love DT!

matte.braso

it's about 20 mins that I'm trying to have access to the DT official site....are they posting something new? :P

Really? It's actually one of the best received post-SDOIT Dream Theater albums around these parts.

Esto sí que me ha sorprendido bastante (poca duración, mal sonido de batería, ningún cambio de dirección brusco con relación a ADTOE, Rudess "nulo", etc).

RMGadelha

I always get that funny feeling when a band website is not working... But that usually leads to disappointment =P

countoftuscany42

That's not his face, that's that guy Gunther or whatever his name is who does weird music about sex. Don't ask why I know that  :lol

Now that I think about it, that guy's "review" could EASILY be a total hoax. Take it with a grain of salt, guys. Besides, does Dream Theater give promotionals to non English-speaking countries?

"First impressions: different to A Dramatic Turn of Events. Heavier and also more melodic. Some lovely obtuse time changes and very proggy in places. The epic Illumination Theory will thrill DT fans. It won't change opinions of the band's detractors within the prog community, and these are still early days, but it sounds like a strong addition to the band's body of work."
