I've returned from Turku - I had a nice trip that included walking around the city, watching places, doing some record shopping, etc. The weather was really warm and beautiful yesterday, but today it was raining.

What's Turku like? The only places I saw were Lepaavaaraaaaa (I can't remember how many a's go where in that name), Helsinki and Porvoo, but damn, there were some nice pretty places.

Turku was founded in the Middle Ages, so there are some really old buildings like the cathedral and the castle (I've visited those two already, so I didn't go there this time). The Aura river flows through the city and it was nice to take a walk beside it in the evening. I'd say Turku is the most beautiful city in Finland thanks to the architecture and the closeness of the sea.
