But seriously, I echo what Marco said: few people stay in the same town/city throughout their lives, so I'm sure you'll get a chance to move to a different place at some point

Not here, really. I rarely heard of people who moved for the hell of it; most moves occur when you go to study in a different city, and I missed my chance there.

Then again, I'd probably dislike the shit out of any city I move to, so that's just an empty wish

Don't forget that you may get a job from another city or move to the same place with your significant other On the other hand, every place has its pros and cons - some flaws just get replaced with others. For example, Tampere has more to offer than Seinäjoki, but it's a less peaceful place. That said, I'd much rather live in a city with two record stores and numerous interesting gigs instead of a place where you're dependent on what CDs a couple of local warehouses have to offer and only get to see gigs twice a year
