Oh that was kinda obvious. I thought you were trying t tell me who was goint to be there. And the concert is tonight. Then we will find out soon-ish.

Well, considering they are 3 hours behind us, it'll be around 2am before we figure out what happens unless someone is doing text updates. I would guess that ZPZ probably just went on stage a few minutes ago.

I never the awesomeness of that. I really could care less.

What are you talking about?

My bad, typ. I never understood the awesomeness of a DT/ZPZ jam.

Who said it would be a DT/ZPZ jam? I don't see the awesomeness either but no one knows who will be jamming at the special jam tonight.

I wonder how long BTL only was... about half an hour?  :tup

And great stuff that Steve Vai rocked out with Dweezil and DT. Great stuff!
Does that mean btw that Steve played along with ZPZ too?

By my best recollection the LA show started at 9pm and ended right at 10:30.

By the way, did the other cities have a star wars lightsaber duel live on stage before PoW?

It was kinda odd.  The Imperial March came over the loud speaker and a couple of fully costumed characters (Obi wan, stormtroopers, etc) ran on the stage swinging their sabers.

End of tour goofiness I guess.  It was fun.

:eek Steve Vai!!!! Lightsaber duels!!!! I'm jealous...
John Myung won the battle, and he didn't even have a lightsaber. That's how deadly and badass he is.

That sounds awesome.

So why does MP say NY is getting something special and then LA gets something REALLY special?  I would have muich rather had last nights concert than the one in NYC from the sound of it.

its the end of the tour, for DT that usually means something unique and cool will happen.

Here's the video of Vai, Petrucci, Dweezil and Jordan rocking out!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0U3D-V7LoaQ

Must have been really awesome to have witnessed live!, very cool jam. I like how the three guitarists are tapping it out when suddenly a keyboardist comes and rocks their socks off I was like: Where is Jordan? and then he comes out after Vai's first solo, its great haha.

It feels strange somehow that the tour is over, but soon they come over to us!, its gonna be great. I look forward to what songs they're going to play too, hopefully some old songs they never played in a while ; ).

^^It really does feel strange. This leg of the tour that we have been following and watching since the end of July is over.
