Sixtease

Hey guys, sorry if this has been answered before. Just how long does the PN show take start to end? I'm wondering if I'll make it to the bus. :-)

Mladen

Great set list in Denmark, although I'm still not too crazy about Sacrificed sons...

It'll probably be from 7 to 11.

I don't think they will - Southampton is close enough to London to eliminate it I reckon.

Here in Sweden it started at 6.30 and ended around 11.30.

By the way, the Düsseldorf-date (Germany) on the 3rd of October is missing on the first page of this thread.

Dream Team

Love it that they're playing The Mirror and Lie. Those 2 songs have yet to be on a live DVD, maybe they'll be on the next one . . .

Nick

That's funny, a lot of bands would fill a 30 minute opening spot with 7 songs.

:lol That's true, my old punk band played 12 songs in a 45 minute set and there was alot of banter, too.

That's like, 85-90 minutes of music right there :lol

Yeah and watch that set get completely torn apart on any other website. You should see the flak these setlists are getting on metalsetlists. It's kinda crappy. But then again, they tear apart any setlist that isn't Iron Maiden.

Not trying to start a forum war, mods, dont' get your panties in a bunch. :heart

Who cares what other sites think? All that matters is if the fans sitting in that venue enjoy it. :hat
Looks like a pretty good setlist to me, although I usually prefer more songs to a few longer ones. But luckily there are no songs I dislike in that list at all, so I wouldn't mind that setlist.

Mladen

Berlin was WAAAAY too short. One more song could fit for sure, this is only 80 minutes...

80 minutes? Let's see...

ANTR, AROP, James speaks: 25-27 min
HY: 9 min
Erotomania, Voices: 17 min
ITNOG: 15 min
Encore break: 5 min
TCOT: 20 min

Adds up to 90 minutes (give two or three more) perfectly.

Mladen

I didn't know Hollow years was so long. Also, encore break was only about minute or so long when I saw Dream Theater few months back.  :-\ Also, TCOT is actually 18 minutes, so there you go - take out two minutes of TCOT, make the encore break shorter for about four minutes, and you have some extra time to put in Prophets of war, Constant motion, or something.  ;)

BlobVanDam

Hollow Years is longer live, because they do an extended solo section (longer than on Budokan, I think), so it is several minutes longer than the studio version. And TCOT is actually 19 minutes
Maybe they could have squeezed in another song, but if the intermission was so short, perhaps they had to cut the intermission short to finish on time (not sure if the venue has a curfew)? Just a thought though. I could be way off

cyberdrummer

Apparently, Unexpect were on later than usual, so that probably affected DT's set.

Awesome, all new songs for this tour too.  I hope when they come back to the US I get a setlist like this!  Closing with AROP is interesting.

Poland got the best setlist so far in Europe this leg.
