I just realized something. :lol
The original PoW video I made never even got used. I remade it for the CiM DVD, and that's the one they're using now. It's the same, but I updated the graphics a bit.
Glad they're using it. It's still got a few little kinks to iron out, as it hasn't been tested on the road yet, but it's running pretty well.

yay. ANTR video (well the tail end of it at least)

Throughout the whole Miami show I remember thinking quite often, ".....Blob fucking rules."

You made the show, man.

Demi Zenith

Dammit, I forgot that the PN had started already. I missed out on all of the opening discussion. :lol

*watched the clips posted in here so far*

EDIT: ANTR sounds rocking. People were right about AROP, they should get JLB to sing the higher melody. Still, not too bad as it is.  :metal

BlobVanDam

Thanks. Anyone else notice JLB mess up the timing during the "would you like to see" verse? He misssed a beat somewhere then realized about two lines later that he'd messed up. It's fun hearing little problems like that on early performances of a song.
I still remember the very first performance of ITPOE.
"MY SOUL GROWS WEAKER. NA NA NA NAA WAITSSSSSSSSSS" :lol

also, just watching the first TCOT video, and the wizard looks badass on the big screen during the later unisons

SystematicThought

Taking a comment from the video, that lady dancing is extremely annoying.
Is that a common occurence at DT shows.... dancing?

Thanks a lot man, that made my day.
I dunno why the camera man felt he needed to film a stripper dancing with Dream Theater playing in the backgorund but wé all have weird fetishs so it's not really my place to talk heh
And is it me or did JLB just brutally butchor the chours?

At last years show there was a drunk woman trying to dance to The Dark Eternal Night. :lol She had a bit of trouble with it.

perfey

:lol Nice to finally see the COUNT, good performance and a hot girl dancing to Dream Theater is never wrong (although she blocked the view of JP) :metal. The "I I dont want to die" wasnt so cool I thought it would be though.

Bombardana

I think they'll have to mix around who harmonises with who on that chorus, same as with A Rite of Passage

TAC

It's only my opinion..
But I say Orlando won the Florida round.
Quote from: wkiml on June 08, 2012, 09:06:35 AMwould have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Quote from: Stadler on February 08, 2025, 12:49:43 PMI wouldn't argue this.

Finally registered for this site... it's taken me forever.

Anywho, I was at both the Tampa and Orlando shows. While it was awesome seeing Prophets of War live for the first time at Hard Rock, the Tampa show absolutely slayed it. Solitary Shell went on for between 15-20 minutes and had some of the most intense soloing I've seen Petrucci and Rudess pull off. Simply incredible.

Anybody that gets to see the Tampa setlist on this tour is in for a real treat.

At the '07 show in Dallas, two chicks in front of me were grinding on each other. Also during The Dark Eternal Night.

Welcome! Enjoy your stay, just don't go down the cellar stairs.

So the lesson is that The Dark Eternal Night makes the ladies horny

Jamesman42

I would so trade PoW for Solitary Shell, even though it rocked and is a lot shorter. I love SS, favorite movement of SDOIT.
\o\ lol /o/

SeRoX

Finally we got PoW. And SHIT They never play this at TURKEY. Way To Europe for me  :millahhhh
