If I was him, I wouldn't hesitate to have you receive a promotional copy upon receiving a proof that you are not just making up the whole thing to get the DVD early.

I might have to. What do you think would constitute as proof? A link to the video of me opening the letter along with a picture of the actual letter and a few other links to various sites to verify who I am (facebook, etc.)?
