Not necessarily. If JP is about to go into Killzone mode, you'd want at least 4 or 5 cameras on him... You know, in the event a few of them die.

Dream Theater Live at Luna Park trailer pop up fact... Each song was meticulously broken down on paper for the assistant director, Chris Paul, who would constantly be reading off what was coming up next so director, Mike Leonard, could direct the cameras. Thanks to Over The Edge for the facts.

This is normally done. For L@B we watched all of that leg to get the notes for cameras. For Score, not only did we see many shows leading up to RCMH, but supplied CD's of the music to the crew. On all big shoots, you can pretty much count on music cues being taken.
