Seems a bit weird..

Wouldn't you just have a camera for each guy so as not to mis anything ?

Not necessarily. If JP is about to go into Killzone mode, you'd want at least 4 or 5 cameras on him... You know, in the event a few of them die.

Good new fact!

Quote from: DTFBDream Theater Live at Luna Park trailer pop up fact... Each song was meticulously broken down on paper for the assistant director, Chris Paul, who would constantly be reading off what was coming up next so director, Mike Leonard, could direct the cameras. Thanks to Over The Edge for the facts.

Thanks to Over the Edge for the facts, indeed.

Fiery Winds

The camera moves quite a bit in the trailer, so it'd be real convenient to say, "Swing that camera around the drumkit....now!".

I am at least glad they studied the music in order to get the best possible shots for the DVD. Props to OTE.

QuoteFinal Fact - The bonus features give an All Access look at some of the behind the scenes rituals, including some Jalapeños, yoga and Mike Mangini in his underwear...?

I would hope that's the case for all concert dvds. It makes sense... kind of how you can tell the official bootlegs apart (besides quality) is the filming often misses the person soloing and whatnot.

This is normally done. For L@B we watched all of that leg to get the notes for cameras. For Score, not only did we see many shows leading up to RCMH, but supplied CD's of the music to the crew. On all big shoots, you can pretty much count on music cues being taken.

why is there still no new information  ??? >:( ???

Kotowboy

Jinx

Well at this rate there will be no need for  pre-orders  ;D

And OTE are saying that they are having to wait for the band/the management to give them the go-ahead to release more info. So who knows when its* coming?

* The information/The trailer and/or The actual disc

nestcmartin

Over the Edge Productions: Ok guys.. Sorry for the false alarm, but we're at the mercy of DT and when they want to release things... But you won't be disappointed  coming soon! (As in this week, we promise!)

Deja vu

Strange deja vu?

It's been 3-4 weeks since they said they'd have something new already. At least there's no excuse for this to be anything less than perfect!

edit: Dangit, Myung'd by Nest777. How dare you get in on the obvious joke before me! :lol
