In a couple of hours they are going to post a status update about how sorry they are that things are moving along slowly, that it's not completely in their hands and that they are quite postive that we will be given something interesting within next week. And stay assured, we're going to fall for it again, and again and again

Well, theres got to.be some geniuses at OTE. They come on once every couple of weeks and promise updates and somehow, without even posting anything, they are keeping the interest levels there!!

Speak for yourself, I've spent the last few weeks not giving a shit! Which, yes, I'm being flippant, but DT are very much on the backburner for me right now. Nothing public happening, not excited, not interested!

Not complaining, either. I think these things have to come in waves or it'd be tiring. I'll be giddy with anticipation when the new album's on its way - but with MP's split dominating this phase of the last cycle, this is the least interesting Dream Theater's been in four years. The new DVD doesn't even exist, yet, in my head - shit-giving will only commence when I've seen the cover art! And in the meantime, plenty of more exciting things to be a fan of.

Fair dues, I couldnt be more pumped for it. That first trailer alone whetted my appetite and I cannot wait for more updates. Will bring back great memories of the Wembley gig (the popping of my DT cherry)

To be honest they can't keep building it up (swear to god if someone makes a referance...) If it sucks (which is unlikely but possible) they would look absolutely stupid for an epic build up...

Who's building it up?  It seems to me like it's the fans doing all the building, not the band or the crew.
