wow i just realized i must be a major DT fanboy because ive been reading through everyones lists and i keep saying "I LOVE THAT SONG!"..lol..i guess if i absolutely had to pick a least favorite i would say "You Not Me"..but i still kinda like that song.

Here we go. Starting with my least favourite:

1. Raw dog (heard it twice. It didn't have any potential and was so bad it made me angry) 
2. You not me (hate it)
3. Constant Motion (hate that terrible riff and the metallica-feel of the song
4. I walk beside you (sounds too u2)
5. The Dark Eternal Night (hate the vocal effects and the lyrics)
6. Wither (I guess it's ok but I think it's a little boring)
7. The Shattered Fortress (heard everything before etc )
8. Anna Lee
9. A rite of passage (this is the point where I actually can enjoy listening to the songs)
10. Forsaken (I enjoy it a little, but I would be dissapointed if they are playing it on a concert I'm attending.)

Could have made a new list of songs that have lyrics I hate. But I can generally say that I don't like the lyrics that are telling stories about evil creatures and such. I think petrucci has written most of those lyrics. Examples: The Dark Eternal Night, Forsaken, The Count Of Tuscany. It's all so superficial...

I can do this.   There are about 10 songs from DT that I almost dislike.
I will not include any Majesty demos.

I always default to "The Answer Lies Within" as my least favorite. Nothing has changed. Maybe it will tomorrow with the new album, but I doubt that... I think the band is on the right track.
The Answer Lies Within is like a big block of nothing. I kind of understand why Dream Theater would step outside the comfort zone, and try this kind of uneventful, pretty track... but it just doesn't do much for me.

I like many things in Never Enough (esp. the electronica shit and the drum-work), though it's probably my least favorite on 8thalbum.  Though that's like my 3rd favorite DT.  And everything on it is very well worth the money and more. 
Forsaken (Fun, but not much to it)
I dunno, maybe the 2 shorter songs on BC&SL are only good, as opposed to being super-duper, but they're still good. 

(Fuck, it's hard to come up with negative things to say about DT.)

1: Prophets of War (can't stand the techno vibe here...)
2: Lie (Great solos, but I think the song doesn't run smoothly...)
3: Constant Motion (meh, bad vocals)
4: The Best of Times (hate the poor rhymes here... Okay with Day... but the solo is top5 best Petrucci solos)
5: Anna Lee (Dunno, I find this the DT's weakest balad ever)
6: The Shattered Fortress (Hate the reprises, hate 3:44~4:10... "If you're not sure, ASK YOURSELF... lyrics are just thrown there)
7: Space Dye Vest (Intro piano sounds good, but the song itself doesn't represent much)
8: Through Her Eyes (Isn't a bad song, I just think it's weak within an epic album)
9: The Ones to Help to Set the Sun (Strange song...)

Up to about number 7 are songs I actively dislike, as in I will skip them immediately if they come up on the album/ipod/whatever. The last 3 are just songs that I find mediocre or mostly forgettable. A Rite of Passage Almost made the list, just for the bebot solo, but otherwise it's a pretty decent song.
