A quick note about whoever the new drummer is

We will all know shortly who DT's new drummer is, and I'd like to remind everyone what that means. Though I think people have been for the most part quite respectful to those who were at first rumored to be trying out and later those that were confirmed to be, once they are officially announced as part of the band they are under the same protection as any other past or present member. I understand that no matter who it is a lot of people will be frustrated that their guy didn't get picked, but please don't let those frustrations surface in the form of insults towards whoever did get picked. It's going to be a frantic time for sure, but as DT have done let's keep it respectful and (hopefully) positive as we look towards a bright new future.

I will say, if it IS Priester, for whatever reason, that means they liked him more than the MMs. And given that they ruled out Lang/Donati despite their technical proficiency for relatively trivial faults, that would mean Priester blew them away in some regard. I highly doubt DT, already so impressed with the MMs, would shun them both for Priester if he didn't have an unbelievable audition. Which probably means many of the haters would understand by the end of the documentary.

However, I'm skeptical about Aquiles Priester. Somehow, my gut feeling tells me that it's going to be him and I'm not too fond of that (I'd be really glad about either of the MMs). He surely is a great drummer, but... I don't know...

Thanks for you comment about my english. I work at an Embassy so I practice every day to get better. I think Aquiles' english is more than enough. Besides, music is an international language.
