They are also playing the night before in Wolverhampton now so this will not be their first UK show with the new drummer after all!

Yeah, I've got my tickets for the whole weekend.  Going down to London on the Friday then coming back on the Monday.

Also playing Doncaster on the 22nd - just booked tickets. It's quite a way, but it's straight up the A1 for me, and so much easier to get to than Wolverhampton. So stoked! Much as I love seeing DT live anywhere, I'd rather see them in a smaller venue than a larger one - the vibe is just so different.

Rush on the 25 May, Black Crowes on 12 July, DT on 22 July and Iron Maiden on 5 August - looks like I'm in for a great summer!

I think bads I really wanna see on the Sunday are: Pallas, The Enid, Mostly Autumn, Spock's, also trying to fit in BCC, Thunder and DT (also getting a good spot for DT) Plus finding the time to go and have a few beers with the guy's from Spocks too.    Don't know how I'm gonna fit it all in.

Saturday:
Neal Morse + MP (alas he's only playing on certain US dates)

Spock's Beard + DT

I would've paid double the ticket price to see all 4 on the same day playing sequentially

I'd probably watch Neurosis tbh, they slay live.

Also they aren't Neurosis wil probably start about 7 for an hour and half slot then DT will be on at 8.15-8.30 for 2 hours.  Something like that anyway

I was thinking about the time table and all the potential conflicts. It seems High Voltage won't release the actual time table in advance, but I'd be interested to know if anyone attended last year, and if so, what was the situation? Did the headlining band on the Prog stage collide with the Main stage headliners and so on? Or was there some overlapping?

I'm obviously gonna watch Spocks, but I'd also like to catch BCC.
Likewise, it'd be kind of a bummer if Slash and Neal Morse were on at the same time.

Oh, well... Not much of problem, really. Just curious.

There actually was some overlapping. When I left after Transatlantic concluded their headlining performance on prog stage there was still someone playing if I remember correctly. But at the same time there was a lot of people leaving at the same time I did, so I guess that the event ws basically over at 22.40 circa

BCC and Spock's won't clash I think.  Spock's are on from 6-6.45.  The earliest BCC will be going on is 6.30 so maybe a slight clash.
