The only members currently in the band that are from Long Island are JP & JM.

Just for the recrod, Jordan is from Long Island too =)

I thought he was out of this world.

BTW, JR won't be there because he is in Venezuela getting ready for his orchestral concert.

So that leaves James@ I wonder what that man is doing today?

OK, fair enough about JR.  That's a legit reason.  I'm still curious about James.  He would likely be preparing for the Static Impulse tour, but when that was cancelled a month ago his next priority should have been attending the Hall of Fame event.  Regardless, I'm excited for tonight.  Petrucci and Myung walking the red carpet at 6:30!!

This is gonna be cool to see JM and JP sporting tuxedos. I wonder if JM will bring his bass?

Better question: I wonder if he won't bring his bass.

I think it's lame that Samsara is not being inducted into the LI HOF. LudwigVan too!  :metal

Agreed. LOL. Frank Aresti of FW is now living in Middle Island (that was the first town I lived in), so he should be there too. lol.

Seriously though, unless they have a legitimate excuse for not being there (like Jordan does), the entire band should be there, past and present members. This is a big event. Yeah, it is a local music hall of fame, but it's a big deal. I think it's really lame that the only two rumored to be in attendance is JP and JM. James, Mike, Kevin, Charlie, and Derek should be there unless they have commitments.

The band is being inducted as a Long Island-formed and based band. Not just the native Long Islanders.

MP is on tour with A7X.

KM couldn't care less about this, most likely.

I don't think DS's time served warrants him being there.

I'm not sure about CD.

I thought MP was home until after X-mas, if not, ok, he has a legit reason for now being there.

KM SHOULD, even though you're probably right.

CD ain't doin' much of anything.

The point is, those that are available should be there. To not go is sorta lame. The band, its history, its musicians, are being inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame. That's a pretty cool feather in the cap and they should be there.

Yeah MP is in Germany right now, James I don't know, and Charlie was in the band for like 17 seconds compared to the overall lifespan of the band. Not that I oppose anyone being there, but it's not a big deal if they aren't.

I don't think KM's calendar was open. :neverusethis:

I take all that back: https://www.roadrunnerrecords.co.uk/page/News?news_id=104107

If John Myung speaks about it, then it's somewhere you should be.

I can't wait to take a pic with Myung and shake his hand!
