DTF Top 100 DT songs from 2024 poll?

Is anyone making the top 100 DT songs ranked by us for last year? I want to see everyone's favorites and see how high a song can get. Could I start this or is that reserved for a higher-ranked forum member?

I mean, you could.  But we did one last year that is here, and there has not been anything new released since then, other than the two singles.  I would wait and do one maybe this time next year about this time, or at least a few months from now, after we've had the new album for a bit and are able to have digested it.

Right, and I think Kev didn't even allow us to use the View songs anyway if I recall.

It was actually included. I've got a vague memory of being excluded initially but then the countdown was delayed and the album subsequently included. Could be remembering that wrong.

The last one DID have AVFTTOTW.  I didn't do the first one (shame!) but I did the second, and I DID rank those songs.

In a general countdown thread, Reaper said that he would be willing run the next one, so you two may need to discuss who's doing it

Seeing as the countdown threads seem to be replacing survivors/leagues, I hereby consider the #1 on the most recent DT countdown to join the Hall of Fame, the pantheon of DTF's Number One Dream Theater Song.
