Well, with an nearly unanimous vote, the NOMAC Tracks were taken out early and won't be included in this official first round of The Astonishing Survivor. So here we are with 29 tracks to pick from, and in this first round, PLEASE VOTE FOR SIX TRACKS!
The six tracks with the most votes will be voted out. Next round, we will be voting out five, and so on and so forth until we're down to single-vote elimination rounds.

FYI, Round 1 has 29 choices, Round 2 should have 23, Round 3 should have 18, Round 4 should have 14, Round 5 should have 11, Round 6 should have 9, and Round 7 onward should have 8, a total of 13 rounds. As usual with this long and large albums, 5th and 6th places will go to Consolation while the Top Four advance to the Finals. This will be a bit of a long one, but we will also have the rest of the DT12 Survivor, the DOT Survivor, and the AVFTTOTW Survivor, the latter two of which will have their first go around in a Dream Theater Survivor!

I think Our New World has its vocal fans, but a number of us don't really see what's so special about it.

Meanwhile I'm already scared for Chosen, which is one of my favorites on the album.

So there's only 102 total votes right now, with 24 voters, when there should be 144 votes. Looks like about 7-8 folks didn't read the OP and realized you could/should vote for six songs. Ah well...

I originally had the font size at around 20pt but I didn't want it to be obnoxiously large.  I'll be sure to make it even bigger and colored RED next time just to make sure everyone sees it.

So there's only 102 total votes right now, with 24 voters, when there should be 144 votes. Looks like about 7-8 folks didn't read the OP and realized you could/should vote for six songs. Ah well...

I mean, if folks want a re-do, I can simply reset all of the votes to 0, but everyone who has voted already will have to vote again before Sunday morning. As it stands right now, it looks like I may only eliminate songs with 10 or more votes since those seems to be the highest numbers so far. The only reason I wouldn't want to do a complete re-do is because this survivor is already going to be long enough, but if enough folks don't mind voting again, I'll reset the vote counts to 0 tomorrow morning, but that gives everyone just tomorrow to vote again.

I think most people will miss this and not vote, just leave it as is.

I agree, I don't think we should re-do it. It's clear enough that people are supposed to vote for six, and there's no guarantee that if we re-did it, everyone would have gotten the memo.

I managed to catch the rules in time, but just an idea is to put the tag “vote for 6” in the title of the thread might get more people’s attention before pulling the lever.

That is, if you plan on repeating this for a couple of rounds.
