This is my boss's last day in the office for a good several days, and the majority of it is in meetings that I'm a part of. *grumble* At least I'm caught up.

I wish, it was more like going back to the gym for the first time in months.

I've never been to a gym before. I never saw the allure.

I've been to the gym quite a lot in my life, but I totally understand where you're coming from, Prog, ol' buddy, ol' pal. Exercise for the sake of exercise is not something that sits well with me anymore.

I have no problem with exercising, but I don't need to go to the gym to do that. Sit-ups, push-ups, and that sort of thing I can do in the comfort of my own home. I don't have a pull-up bar, but if I want to do that, I take a nice hike in the woods and use a low hanging tree branch. People have had solid bodies in the past without the benefit of a gym, so I think it's quite possible to do with the proper knowledge.

I'm strange in the way that I get the best workout if I'm not at home, that way I can focus on working out.

I'm the same with studying, I do the best studying when I'm somewhere else other than home.

I don't read for myself or fun type stuff, I was just joking around. I'm of the camp "take it seriously, or consider it fake, but don't go halfway" as I think we discussed in the paranormal thread re: ouija boards if I recall correctly. That being the case I don't use it for predicting the future or any such, or to try to get information that isn't ethically/morally/rightfully mine to know, etc.

I read for missing persons cases and usually nothing else with rare exceptions.

Cold and rainy here this morning.  Got to run some errands, then a party for my mother's 70th birthday (which was earlier this week).  Not much else this weekend... maybe catch up on some TV shows, chores (as usual... fuck I wish mrs.jingle would be ok with a cleaning service), bill itemizations, and music.  Lots of music.
