Certainly beats being pulled into the office to be told that my genuine effort wasn't enough, disregarding the fact that a) my wife was pregnant with our first child, b) my dog had just had major knee surgery, c) a 70-yr-old man had backed into my car in a parking lot, d) my wife's grandfather was gravely ill, and e) my aunt was on her deathbed. I was told "suck it up and don't bring that shit to work."
*sigh* Better off not digging up 6 year old demons, but it does feel better to be on this side of things.
