RIP Dick Wagner
« on: August 01, 2014, 08:29:18 AM »

The great guitarist and songwriter Dick Wagner died yesterday at the age of 71.

Go listen to Welcome To My Nightmare in his honor!
"Owners of dogs will have noticed that, if you provide them with food and water and shelter and affection, they will think you are God. Whereas owners of cats are compelled to realize that, if you provide them with food and water and affection, they draw the conclusion that they are God.” — Christopher Hitchens

Given Bob Ezrin's status as my favorite producer, Dick Wagner turns up on a lot of albums I like since he was one of Ezrin's go to guitarists. Off to play the original studio version of Here Comes The Flood by Peter Gabriel in tribute to him. RIP.

Wow, I didn't know he played on that. It's one my favourite songs ever.

RIP
Zydar is my new hero.  I just laughed so hard I nearly shat.

He played the solos on that and on Slowburn on Gabriel's debut, yes.
