I disagree. There's definitely a difference in quality between those albums, and if anything I'd put the RR era albums into the same category (latest two included, although I wouldn't consider any of them "not good"). ToT and Octavarium are still a smidge above everything since for me.

Fair enough.  For me, each of those albums only has one or two songs I ever come back to.

But I do agree with you that it doesn't really make any sense to be trying to compare DT12 to everything else when (most) people have only been hearing it for a week or so, if that.

Blackfield

DT12 brought back the joy to listen to DT again so I will of course choose that one. The other one? Train of thought if I have too choose. But DT12 is miles ahead of these albums.
