Mangini is the one who threw his sticks in the air.

So is this going to be a full on doc?  Seems WAY to produced for a 3min promo clip for YouTube.  Very well done.

Seeing as DT fans love buying video anything of the band, I bet this turns into a legit doc. My guess is it will be part of a limited edition release of the new album, or you could buy it exclusively at a DT concert.

The video told us nothing new.  It turns out Steve Theater was pretty much right on MONTHS ago.  The video was just a promo vid.  No insight at all was given.  My guess is there is going to be a lot of follow up videos being released.  And more and more will be revealed over time.

As for the video, it felt like a trailer for a reality show. Which is okay, because it felt like Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares for some reason. (The UK version, of course).

Yeah I would agree with this.  The production seemed solid, I recognized Mangini, Minnemann, Wildoer and Lang.   other guys I was like "WHo?".   WOuld be cool if we could get a definitive list put together of everyone that appeared in the video.

I was kind of hoping form more than just a commercial though tbqh. but oh well. It was something.  Personally I'd likke to see some USA tour dates get posted...  As much as I'd love to fly to Europe for a concert, I just dont have that kind of scratch...

What were you guys waiting for? This is promo at its best. We'll get to see an indepth look at the auditions. We are incredibly lucky as fans!! They could have just said: "Our drummer is Mike Mangini, alright lets move on!" But no, they're allowing us to share these special moments they had when looking for a new drummer.

I don't see it like that. I think it is a original and fun way for us to know who got the gig, rather than a simple press release mentionning 'X is our new drummer'
