The Voxyn – Efterklang – Modern Drift – 192
I loved the hell out of this song.  It was atypical enough without sacrificing any of the song’s awesomeness.  The strings were my favorite.  The one part where they faded out to the little electronic glitch was amazing.  Definitely my favorite submission this round.

Gorille – Mr. Bungle - Violenza domestica
Shame on me for having never listening to Disco Volante before!  Typically awesome Mr. Bungle here.  The song was moody, quirky, and unexpected all the way through! Awesome.

Sonatafanica – Mother Mother – Dirty  Town
Something about this song was really funny, but I really enjoyed it too. The song was very well done, and the transitions between the intense, light, and just weird parts was perfect.  The vocals were also awesome.

Jsem - Diablo Swing Orchestra - Ballrog Boogie
Really cool.  The whole boogie metal thing is really fun and different.  The song has an awesome groove, and there are some really interesting, unexpected, and weird parts to top it off.

Lielow – Magma – K.A.I.
I know Magma.  Anyway, they are plenty different.  Some of their music leaves me cold sometimes, but this song was pretty fun and original.  It was a bit long, but still managed to mostly stay interesting.

SneakyBlueberry – Mates of State – Open Book
Interesting!  I’ve not heard much music like this but it is very nice!  The male singer wasn’t quite up to par with the female singer, but it wasn’t too big of an issue.  The song had a nice air to it, and I liked it.

Kingshmengland - The Avett Brothers - Kick Drum Heart
Had this been a round for the best stage presence, I would definitely give it every point ever, because the Asian cellist is fucking awesome. Even here, this is a really cool song, it wasn’t too different but it was really fun.

Thought the song wasn’t particularly different, I must say that you fulfilled the expectations of the round requirements considering that you’re probably the last person in the world who I’d expect to send this.  Anyway, it was a pleasant song and I enjoyed it.

Letters – Haken – Celestial Elixir
A lot of this song was very well written.  It really was.  I wasn’t a big fan of the slick production but I got over it.  My only issue was the long, proggy instrumental sections… they didn’t really do much for me and they took up most of the song.  Still, it was very good in parts.

It was a nice, different song.  It was, to be honest, a bit over the top and annoying and repetitive at some parts, but overall quite enjoyable.

MG - Tally Hall- Good Day
It was not a bad song.  I like the way the vocals sometimes harmonize and sometimes do their own thing.  But, to be honest, some of the parts were a slight bit irritating.  Not to say I didn't like it, though.
