Oasis: Heathen Chemistry - Don't Believe The Truth - Dig Out Your Soul

After the disappointing Be Here Now and even Worse Standing on the Shoulder of Giants, they finally released a decent album again and then improved on it again and then again. Nice way to end.

Green Day : Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod.

This is interesting because, while I loved Be Here Now, everything after that has been somewhat disappointing from Oasis.  Maybe I should give those newer albums another shot.  I almost listed their debut through Be Here Now in my list of 3 album runs, but I think Definitely Maybe is slightly too weak to call a great album.  Actually, I'm not so sure about that now...

*checks itunes*

Well, it appears that I love 7 out the 11 songs on Definitely Maybe.  I guess I had forgotten it was that many.  So I'm gonna add to my list of 3 album runs:

Oasis - Definitely Maybe, (What's The Story) Morning Glory?, Be Here Now

What?  Be Here Now is by far Oasis' best album IMO.  Everything after that has been somewhat disappointing.

Is there not an Oasis thread?  I tried to find one using the search function but couldn't turn anything up.  If not, we'll need to make one.

KISS-Paul Stanley, Unmasked, Dynasty (cheating maybe with the PS album but before that wa Love Gun so that's ok)

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, back the truck up.  This is your opinion on the matter and I totally respect that.  However, I am totally sitting here saying "IT DOES NOT COMPUTE".  The Paul Stanley solo album I could maybe get on board with, but have ever actually listened to Dynasty or Unmasked?  If Kiss were a car making industry, both of those albums would be Yugos.  When I first saw it, I looked at the other choices you'd given, wondering if you were just joking.  I saw your Satch picks and thought "Agreed, those are SOLID choices" and realized you weren't joking.

Sorry, I swear I'm not trying to be an ass, but I just found that all rather comical.  :lol

on a side note, kinda funny how each of the first three albums had "..." somewhere in the album title.
