"All great works are prepared in the desert, including the redemption of the world. The precursors, the followers, the Master Himself, all obeyed or have to obey one and the same law. Prophets, apostles, preachers, martyrs, pioneers of knowledge, inspired artists in every art, ordinary men and the Man-God, all pay tribute to loneliness, to the life of silence, to the night." - A. G. Sertillanges

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

One of my previous dogs also used to love chocolate. She did not like the strawberry soft-centred ones, though, so would unwrap all the others and eat them, while leaving them untouched.

My mother was less than impressed. This happened on multiple occasions. Turns out Jack Russels are near impossible to get rid of.

Probably would have been 8.5 had it not happened.

Yup, that's true.

Thinking about it, it's a while since I last had a hot chocolate.

Mmm... want.

Red velvet's awesome as is pineapple upside-downcake while we're on the subject of more obscure cakes. German chocolate's even pretty good sometimes.

Anyone a fan of Red Velvet?

Hi. :)

Red velvet makes me feel all warm and tingly inside. Chocolate chip ed velvet muffins with cream cheese on top make my knees buckle... much like a bisque.

I have to confess I had felt like an idiot when I ate chocolate at Switzerland years ago. I said if this is really chocolate what the hell I've been eating at Turkey? (Turkey's own brand chocolates suck) Until this day I thought Turkey's brands are one of the best because I've been many countries except Switzerland before and didn't enjoy them. But Switzerland totally changed my life. :lol

Red Velvet cake is like......well it's awesome.

However for a short time I guess Ihop had red velvet pancakes. Sounds great right? Well, the picture seriously just looked like slabs of raw meat. And maybe for you real men meat eaters that is amazing, but for this pussy vegetarian it looked disgusting and actually turned me off to red velvet for a while.
