HappyFather's Day

To all the dads out there in DTF land, hope your day will be glorious.

*prays for the weather to hold off, as I have 15 in-laws coming over for a BBQ*
That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

So wait, we're spelling it wrong and king is spelling it right? What is going on here? :lol -- BlobVanDam

I slept in this morning, first Sunday in months, since I sing in the church choir (which takes summers off, starting today) and/or play in the praise band at a couple of churches (neither of which needed me today), I'm gonna take a nap this afternoon, and sometime today I'm gonna go pick up Clockwork Angels for myself for my Father's Day present.  It will be a good day.

You'd think that since my father is no longer with us and I am not working today I would still be asleep right now... but nope :lol getting ready to take Panda's dad out to movie and (lunch?  brunch? whatever ya'll wanna call it... )

wow that sounded douchey of me
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Got my dad his gift several months ago :p. Got him, myself and a friend of mine tickets to see Iron Maiden/Coheed & Cambria. Got some pretty decent seats. My dad was more than appreciative of the gift, since he was down on not being able to afford tickets for this show.
I felt its length in quite a few places.

One part of me says "FUCK FATHER'S DAY" because of the huge rush of assholes we had at our restaurant this morning (I just got off, went in at 7 after closing at 1AM...it's now 1PM and I'm ZZZzzZZzzZZzzZZzzZzzZZ) and all the god damn "Happy Father's Day!!  ;D" congrats I had to say (congrats? er...greeting? fuck?); the other part actually genuinely says "Happy Father's Day" cause my pops is the hardest working man I know and lives and breathes for his children. So, y'know, FUCK THIS STUPID DAY AND I HOPE ALL YOU AWESOME DADS HAVE A GREAT DAY, SRSLY THIS ISN'T SARCASTIC. IT'S NOT. UNLESS YOU'RE A BAD DAD IN WHICH CASE I SAY HERE'S TO YOU, FUCKERS! *Chugs acidic bile from the stomach of an eons-old Rancor*

DTP says "WOW, LOOK AT THAT GREAT POST"
RIP DTP.
