Oasis: Heathen Chemistry - Don't Believe The Truth - Dig Out Your Soul

After the disappointing Be Here Now and even Worse Standing on the Shoulder of Giants, they finally released a decent album again and then improved on it again and then again. Nice way to end.

Green Day : Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod.

What?  Be Here Now is by far Oasis' best album IMO.  Everything after that has been somewhat disappointing.

I was into Oasis from the beginning and Be Here Now just seemed rushed and uninspired. It didnt have as many great songs as Morning Glory for me. And it had a lot of plodding boogie rock songs. For my money, Hello is better than DYKWIM, Wonderwall is better than Dont Go Away, Dont look back in anger is better than Magic pie , Champagne Supernova is better than All Around The World ( etc etc ). I barely listen to Be Here Now anymore.

Wanted to include some Therapy? in this list.

I guess I could go with

Nurse ( 92 ) - Troublegum ( 94 ) - Infernal Love ( 95 )

or

Troublegum - Infernal Love - Semi Detached ( 98 )

or

Infernal Love - Semi Detached - Suicide Pact, You First ( 00 )

I'm going to throw out two by the same artist.

Spock's Beard: Kindness of Strangers, Day for Night, V  and Octane, Spock's Beard, X

and I know some people who think would include Snow and Feel Euphoria to make that an 8 album run.  I don't think any band has been so consistantly good for 10 consecutive albums as Spock's Beard.

Got another one

Kamelot - Epica, The Black Halo, Ghost Opera

Honestly, the picks I made for Savatage, Symphony X, Epica, Nightwish and Kamelot have been somewhat arbitrary since I love almost everything by all 5 of those bands.  The same could also be said for Evergrey up through Inner Circle, although after that they kinda lost it  :-\
