-Can't be G3 since DT is touring until the end of February (unless spring dates in March pop up for Satch). Satch is doing the Hendrix experiment for the rest of this year.
-Solo album? Maybe..highly doubt it, although with the acquisition of DT HQ studio, this might be in play.
-Hope it's not a new guitar.
- Signature BBQ sauce? Sterling Ball is president of Ernie Ball guitars and Big Poppa Smokers. Would be different..not sure if this can happen though.

Definitely not excited about this, but it was expected, they did a two week countdount just to announce another leg of the tour a few weeks ago

If it was a guitar clinic/workshop, I think a simple, straightforward announcement is more than enough. Also, his guitars are not usually announced like this. I'm hoping is something a little more interesting than either of those two things.

I like the Hot-Ones episode possibilities. My show is the day after so hoping for something interesting.

I guess we'll have to get used to this. This seems to be the way with social media these days. Making a bigger deal than is necessary about the date when something will be announced, then we get underwhelmed when that date comes.

Just tell me what it is when you're ready to tell me.  "I've got something really important to tell you, but I can't tell you now!  I'll tell you next week." is such a juvenile way of doing things.

Personally, I couldn't care less about JP gear or clinics, and my interest in a solo album would only be slightly greater.

Oh right, sorry, I don't have FB so just saw the JP tweet which was then retweeted by DT. There's nothing on the DT.net site though which is why I think this will be a fairly low-key announcement like a new guitar or something. Not sure when he'd have had time to do his solo album. Would be thrilled if that's what it is though.
