I am also cautiously intrigued by Out of Reach - although I have a feeling this will be the weakest track for me given my thoughts on (most) recent DT ballads.

Dedalus

I don't know if I've missed something, but will we have Noxon's review on D/T?

SupermanJLU

Hey since I see many discussing the bonus track. Anyone here from Canada find a good and relatively affordable site to order the Digi-pack from. I want the bonus track but I cannot find any Canadian sites that are selling it. Any suggestions would be appreciated Thanks!!

The Letter M

Speaking of the album, I've noticed that the / version of the acronym is catching on, more so than DOT, and this is likely because of its appearance on the official album itself.

However, on the official materials, it is shown in lowercase, as d/t. Is it too nitpicky to differentiate? lol

I dunno, The more recent DT ballads are the strongest imo. Chosen is just awesome!

It's a bit quiet on the new news front, innit? Ho hum. Probably best not to overload, i guess...

Renzo

Just because Out of Reach has so little information given us by the track by track reviews I can say that this is the track I am actually interested the most..  ;D

IDontNotDoThings

Is that a leak or an official release?

Either way I'm avoiding it because I don't want too many spoilers.

Snippets of the album are at this point unofficial, and should not be posted here.

erwinrafael

OK, sorry about that. I thought it was official because there were even videos posted.

Nearly facepalmed when I read that Viper King is about muscle cars but then he compared it to Highway Star and I paused and thought, well I guess that's a pretty kickass song

and Red Barchetta. :)

and these are both cool, so that should be nothing to worry about
All my natural instincts are begging me to stop
But somehow I carry on, heading for the top
A physical absurdity, a tremendous mental game
Helping me understand exactly who I am

So far so good.  I am holding off on listening to any singles or videos from the band about the new album.  I plan to chill and listen on release date.

I'm on that boat too.

Let me just say, I didn't expect Barstool Warrior to be one of the top songs of the album. And you guys have heard some bits from it... :censored

I must have missed something....have you heard the whole album? If so, how?

nikatapi

I have listened to the album since I got a promo for review. Just wanted to share my thoughts as I was listening to the album.

Is anyone going to one of the DT concerts going into the concert without spoilers on the set list?
I did this for the probably final Rush tour and loved the surprise songs in the set list.

For the first time ever I'm not looking at the setlist beforehand, only because my show is the week after the start of the tour. Normally I wouldn't have enough will power to not look, but I think I can wait a week.....even though we already know half of the setlist anyway 😂

So true, but it's so hard not to look.  I will.  I can't help myself.  I remember for Iron Maiden's last US tour I held out which was really difficult and it was super cool for the surprise of which new songs they played and which old ones they pulled out (I was super stoked they did Powerslave again).

Spoiler alert: they will play songs from SFAM.

WAIT...how many of them?!?

-Marc.

Lol!  I meant the songs except for the SFAM set.  I would love to hear The Glass Prison.

I have done this in the past DT tours and it has been worth it. It has been so great to hear Afterlife, Burning My Soul, ACOS and others when it has been a big surprise!

It's although really hard to not know anything as all here and in Facebook are talking about the set list and there are videos appearing on my screen on YouTube.

Here is my interview with James and John : enjoy ;)
The French promoter told us to hold all the reviews and interviews until Feb 1st, so be prepared, everyone's gonna release everything :D

It's my life mission and creed to go to ANY concert without spoilers on the setlist.
